To support the plan, the NT Government is developing a Digital Government Roadmap. The Roadmap outlines priority projects that will drive digital transformation for government. The Roadmap informs agencies and decision-makers about the priorities, directions and analysis underway.
The Roadmap will identify the priority projects and actions that deliver the plan and the Digital Territory Strategy.
Digital Government Roadmap
The Digital Government Roadmap is a 5-year plan that is refreshed annually. Following a refresh in 2024, the Roadmap consists of the following.

- Solutions in this category are currently in development or transformation in progress.
- 24 projects across Human Services, Public Safety, Law and Order, and more.
Priority focus
- Solutions in this category are proposed or possible activities being analysed or scoped for development. Budget is allocated to develop the project for approval.
- 15 projects across Human Services, Economic, Land and Natural Resources, and more.
Watching brief
- Solutions in this category are currently in use but may be in need of upgrade, enhancement or replacement in the next 5-10 years.
- 14 projects across Central government, Public Safety, Law and Order, Economic and more.
Potential new solutions
- Solutions in this category are potential investment into innovative or new solutions and are currently being explored. This includes exploration of emerging agency needs.
- 9 projects across Economic, Public Safety, Law and Order and more.
