Service Delivery

The Northern Territory Government has a contemporary ICT service delivery model is based on Service Integration and Management (SIAM) utilising the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. The ICT service delivery model is referred to as the Multiple Service Provider (MSP) model for All of Government.

It is a multi-vendor model in which commercial arrangements are released to market under a competitive tender process. The current model comprises 22 contracts of which the below form key elements:

  • Supplier for whole of government Service Centre services
  • Supplier for whole of government network and network management services
  • Supplier for whole of government Telecommunication Services (Fixed Voice, Mobile data and Equipment, high speed cable, remote cable and satellite)
  • Supplier for End-User Computing services management.

The NT Government currently has an ICT Specialists panel contract. The ICT specialist services panel contract is a non-exclusive contract and has been specifically developed to facilitate procurement of ICT specialist services.

Agencies can request quotes from panel members for specialised ICT services  focused on ICT Business Solutions and ICT Consulting Services. Other ICT Specialist Resources such as business transformation projects and programs, enterprise computing environment, steady state operation of enterprise business systems and online services that covers the provision of web development and other related services required to support internal and external online communication, services and transactions.
