In January 2022, Kathleen Robinson was awarded a Public Service Medal (PSM) for her long and distinguished career spanning over 4 decades. Kathleen has 25 years in executive level positions in the NT Public Sector, with the last 9 years as Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD).
Kathleen has earned a reputation as a person of integrity, intelligence, determination and imagination. Her roles have encompassed:
- financial policy development and implementation
- the instigation and implementation of financial reporting reforms and
- delivering corporate and shared service functions including significant digital reforms.
Formerly, a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), when hard copy ledgers, spreadsheets and an occasional typewriter was the height of sophistication, Kathleen presented her journey in the changing face of technology as well as diversity and gender equality.
In DCDD Kathleen was responsible for the major digital transformation programs across the NT Government. She oversaw the cyber security strategy, digital policy and governance functions, was the chair of the ICT Governance Board and chair of the Superannuation Trustee Board for the NT Government’s superannuation schemes.
