Over the past 2 years DXC Technology has donated 188 re-furbished laptops to schools and community organisations across the Territory via DXC’s Digital Futures and First Nations Programs. These programs aim to increase digital inclusivity so that students and communities can develop skills to build better futures. The initiative has been facilitated through DXC’s long term Premier Partnership with Northern Territory Cricket. Both organisations are committed to fostering growth and inclusion in the Territory by bringing together cricket, communities and technology.
Schools and community groups that have benefited from the donations include:
- Clontarf Foundation - 15 laptops
- Elliott School - 32 laptops
- Kalano Community Group - 4 laptops
- Ludmilla Primary - 30 laptops
- Malak Primary - 60 laptops
- Millner Primary - 30 laptops
- Wuyagiba Study Hub - 5 laptops
- Yipirinya School - 12 laptops
These laptops meet the Department of Education laptop standards and provide students with access to digital tools that contribute to their engagement in school and educational success.
DXC laptop contributions to Kalano Community Association in Katherine, will assist in the delivery of employment and social programs as well as community, sport and recreation and health-related activities.
