Digitise commencements of new NT Government employees with the implementation of the myCommencement system.

Overview

The current processes for commencing new NT Government employees is labour intensive requiring multiple exchanges of paperwork with the new employee and manual entry of information into the personnel system.

The myCommencement system will automate these processes with online forms for the new employee to enter their details, verify their identity and sign their employment contract.

The system will also integrate with the personnel system to create the new employee record and calculate salary and tax amounts

Benefits

The system will reduce the effort and costs to commence new employees, reduce the time between the offer of employment and starting work and lower the risks of errors in data entry.
