Scoping of an Education Management Program
Overview
The key objective of this initiative is to conduct a feasibility study of implementing a student-centric system. This will inform the direction the agency will take to improve data quality and integration of all student data, enhancing the ability for schools, systems and NT Government agencies to work together.
The Department of Education has a range of legacy business applications to support school operations. These disparate systems requires multiple inputs and manual monitoring or retrieval, leading to increased data quality risks, increased burden on school-based staff (teachers, principals and administration staff) and significant process inefficiencies.
Benefits
The feasibility study will help to inform the development of a program which will streamline systems, improve data quality and visibility of a student journey for students, families, teachers and the Department.
