Participate in the Australian Cyber Security Centre national cyber security exercises.
Overview
The NT will participate in national cyber security exercises to test incident response and inter-jurisdictional arrangements under Australia's Cyber Incident Management Arrangements.
The program uses exercises and other readiness activities to practice strategic decision-making, operational and technical capabilities, strategic engagement and communications required to effectively respond to cyber security incidents.
Benefits
The exercises ensure NT Government incident response plans are regularly reviewed and tested to ensure an effective response and recovery following a cyber incident.
2020 progress update
The NT participated in the national GRIDEX exercise to test the preparedless of the utility sector to respond to cyber security incidents. Ongoing cyber security exercises will continue to include NT participation in national exercises.

The NT Government has participated in many national cyber security exercises and will continue to engage as they arise.
