Translate the official tourism website northernterritory.com into five international languages and develop ability to automatically translate content.
Overview
The official tourism website, https://northernterritory.com is being translated into five international languages including:
- French
- Italian
- German
- Japanese
- Chinese (traditional) and
- Chinese (simplified).
Tourism NT will develop an automated translation solution that will ensure that translations stay up to date when new content is created.
Benefits
Tourism is an important economic driver for the NT and a significant industry in regional areas. Publishing tourism information in multiple languages will make this NT tourism content accessible to non-English speakers.
2020 progress update
Relevant content on the nt.gov.au website has been translated into multiple languages and the Transperfect service has been implemented to support updates to the content on these sites.
