Initiative
Enabling smartphone and tablet access for regional staff undertaking housing tenancy inspections.
Overview
This project will deliver hardware (Windows tablet and smart phone) and secure 3G/4G remote access to apps, systems and intranet sites for 230 Housing frontline Service Delivery staff who are required to travel to urban, regional and remote locations, to help them meet their day-to-day operational requirements and obligations to manage tenants and assets while in the field.
Current processes are heavily reliant on paper forms completed during on-site tenancy visits in urban, regional and remote areas, resulting in inefficient double-handling, out-of-date or loss of information. This project aims to provide 230 front-line service delivery staff with appropriate internet-enabled tools to perform their tenancy and asset management duties more efficiently while they are in the field, and to access and capture information in real-time.
Benefits
Create efficiencies in DTFHaC Housing staff working with clients, and improve quality of customer service.
