Construct a state-of-the-art STEAM Centre at Darwin High School.
Overview
The NT Government has awarded a contract for $15.9 million to build a contemporary STEAM Centre at Darwin High School.
This infrastructure will complement and enhance the STEAM centre of excellence established at the school.
Benefits
A dedicated facility for teaching STEAM skills to secondary students will enhance learning experiences and make it easier for students to develop core knowledge and digital competencies.
2019 progress update
The purpose built STEAM centre at Darwin High School was opened in October 2019.
The centre supports integrated learning opportunities for students to apply their Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics knowledge, working collaboratively to produce projects or solve complex problems.
